Idyll Isle 1.0.6 Patch Notes

Idyll Isle · published · build 24412845

Highlights: Royce the traveling merchant sets up his own anvil—as islanders unlock, he auto-maintains a stock of spare tools and bait so you stop hand-crafting them. Plus two important fixes: Daily Feed in the Animal Pen was still being consumed while the game was closed (offline), and a chef's leftover cooking queue after the Great Ship set sail could pile food up endlessly and freeze the game.

New Content

  • Royce · Auto-forging at the anvil: As islanders unlock, Royce sets up an anvil on the island and auto-maintains a stock of spare tools and bait for each of them—no more hand-crafting tools and bait in the Crafting tab. The queue and progress show at the bottom of the Crafting panel; it's auto-maintained and can't be cancelled. He stands aside while you're crafting at the panel or trading with him, and finishes the current piece before leaving to trade. Unlocks after your first trade with Royce, once the anvil is "set up" during his introduction (existing saves past that tutorial get it automatically).

Gameplay Improvements

  • Royce · smoother Auto-Sell confirm: The Auto-Sell Confirm button now enables only once you've set up at least one item; pressing it starts the auto-loop and closes the panel, departing as soon as there's enough surplus. In auto mode, adding an item just registers the slot—no quantity popup (the amount sold is surplus minus your reserve).

Bug Fixes

  • Animal Pen · no more offline Daily Feed drain: Fixed Daily Feed being consumed while the game was closed (offline)—the feed countdown now only advances while you're playing, as intended. Affected saves self-correct on load.
  • Great Ship · fixed a post-departure freeze: Fixed a case where, after the Great Ship set sail, a chef's leftover cooking queue could make cooked food pile up endlessly on the ground and eventually freeze the game. Saves already affected fold the piled-up food back into storage on load.
