💽 Patch Notes — v0.6.1
New
Character select at the start of a run — pick who walks into the first room from a portrait grid, with hero art and a look at the classes still locked
Resuming a run now irises open from your party's tile instead of hard-cutting in
Changed
The
Resonant Pillar
now has 50 health and detonates when destroyed
Resonant abilities strain the pillar they fire through, wearing it down as you use it
Resonant Pull
only wears the pillar down through the victims it slams in
Charged
Resonant Pulse
sweeps every pillar once per wave instead of finishing each pillar in turn
Piercing Shot
hits for 20 and the arrow sweeps up the column
Piercing Shot
escalates on its own hit count rather than the party combo
Charged
Slash
cuts through blocking obstacles instead of stopping at them
Caltrops and spike traps now hurt anyone who steps on them, not just enemies
The
Cactus
has 30 health and spines anyone who walks into it
Common
wolves
charge two spaces from the back row; the pack leader hangs back to howl
The
Kappa
spawns half as often
The
Dungeon Explorer
only joins you on tier 1 dungeons
A downed
Mech Fist
reboots and acts on the same turn its repairs finish
Coup de Gravy
puts a
Bombie
down without setting off its detonation
Gem throb now pulses hard and settles instead of humming at a constant rate, and the first-gem tutorial beat moves along quicker
Fixed
Bombie
detonations resolve on its death instead of waiting for the end of the queue
The
Bat
dodge animation plays on the hit rather than after it
Chain tutorial text now describes the chain rules as they actually work
