Update #15 Experimental Branch

Hey survivors,

We're releasing an experimental branch for Update #15: Custom Scenarios, and we're keen to hear your thoughts.

General guide to experimental branches:

• Play at your own risk. Experimental branches have minimal testing, and saves may not work with older or newer versions of the build. We strongly recommend a new save to keep it separate and to back up any saves that are dear to you.

• We'll be collecting feedback in a specific survey form. You can find the survey in the Main Menu of the game in the experimental branch or here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7DTRJZZ

• Keep your survey responses focused on the game experience. Use the usual bug reporting methods to report bugs.

Update #15 experimental branch information:

• Added Custom Scenarios: Tweak elements of the game to create your own unique playthrough.

• To access Custom Scenarios, please choose 'New Game' and then 'Custom Scenarios.' This mode replaces the 'Custom' difficulty option that previously existed.

• If you have never played the game before, you will need to complete the tutorial in order to unlock Custom Scenarios. If you have played before, it should already be unlocked.

• Custom Scenarios is designed to be progressive - that means that you'll add more starting survivor and starting shelter options as you discover them in either the main game or a custom scenario game. This isn't retroactive - if you currently have an existing game, you'll still need to find survivors and locations fresh when playing Experimental #15 to add them to the Custom Scenarios roster. Come back and try new combinations once you've unlocked more!

How to get to the experimental branch:

• Open your Steam client

• Find Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days in your Library

• Right click the game and open 'Properties'

• Navigate to ‘Game Versions & Betas’ and select ‘experimental_0.18’

• Launch the game

If you need to change back to the default public version of the game, follow the same steps but select ‘Default Public Version’.
