Fixes:
Fixed weird hovering second mainmast on lateen Xebec.
Fixed, or at least substantially reduced, jitter when piloting rowboats.
Improved longline troller's ability to maintain course.
Fixed numerous issues that could cause errors during scene transition.
Significantly improved stair colliders on Greatship, making traversal smoother.
Fixed some minor issues with controller polling.
Changes
Altered many UI elements and menus to better accommodate Ultra-ultrawide monitors. (32:9) Not all elements are complete, but focus given to primary UI elements. There's a lot of UI so this may cause some unintended scaling issues - working on it.
Replaced fish dialogs to better accommodate varied screen sizes/aspect ratios.
Changed support structure of the Xebec to make below decks navigation less annoying.
Updated provision transfer dialog to allow management of new provisions, as well as a new page to handle the transfer of crew between ships.
Updated some audio on all ships to better operate in zones, so that they don't maintain excess volume when far away.
New Content
Added new setting 'Easy Map Mode' this will allow player position to be visible on the map for those not interested in fiddling around with astronomical doohickeys.
Replaced provision dialog to be visually clearer, and include new and upcoming provision types.
Added Aburae as a new provision. Consider this 'fuel' for Epitaphs. (Currently implemented, but not consumed.)
Added crew. Consider this a very work in progress system. Animations are bad, and functionality is limited. This is a first step in what I expect to be numerous iterations - with the current focus being on management of simple ship systems.
Mast Control - active crew can be assigned to set various masts to desired levels. This is a task queue, so crewmembers will be assigned one task each until all are assigned, then the first to finish will receive the next.
Helm Control - You can set a heading, and crew will turn to the given heading, and attempt to maintain that course until told otherwise.
Pump Control - Crew will operate pumps until told otherwise.
These commands can be issues via the new crew radial - which can be accessed via 'TAB'. If you have rebound any function to this key, you may need to rebind.
Crew will be purchaseable or findeable in the world - but currently six are provided at no cost to the player.
You can access these from the provision storage dialog at any shipyard.
Not all ships can support crew currently. Counts are as follows:
Caravel - 0
Longline Caravel - 0
Padewakang - 0
Corsair Xebec - 0 (Temporary - currently some issues with the Square rig.)
Dhow - 4
Xebec - 4
Junk - 4
Saettia - 6
Greatship - 8
These counts will likely increase in the future. For optimization and smoothness I'm keeping the initial counts low. (Though don't expect realistic numbers into the 100s)
Known issues:
Ship names no longer display, or display much higher than expected. Trying to sus out a cause currently.
Crew animations are bad.
Crew do not respond to extreme orientation changes.
