• Tweaked the post-processing across multiple areas to help brighten darker environments and improve visibility.
• A key item now has a subtle glow effect after some players were unintentionally missing it during gameplay.
• Improved clarity in certain text prompts and interactions to make progression feel more intuitive without over-explaining.
• Fixed an issue where some players could become stuck inside the “look through” camera interaction, forcing a restart from the previous checkpoint.
The goal of this game has always been to create an experience where players piece things together on their own without excessive hand-holding. That sense of discovery is a huge part of the atmosphere and identity of the game. However, it became clear that some areas were creating more frustration than intended for certain players.
With this update, I’ve tried to better balance challenge, exploration, and clarity, especially for players who may not be as familiar with this style of gameplay, while still preserving the mystery and tension of the experience.
I also want to apologize to those affected by any of these issues. My testers and I spent a huge amount of time testing the game relentlessly, but unfortunately some problems still slipped through the cracks. With new mechanics often come unforeseen issues that are difficult to catch until the game reaches a wider audience.
This is ultimately a solo-developed project, and I truly do the best I possibly can to create a challenging experience without unnecessary frustration. I genuinely appreciate everyone who has been patient, supportive, and understanding throughout the process. Thank you for continuing to play and support the game.
