Sadly, due to some complications and unexpected delays during Steam’s review process, Buried Below will no longer be releasing on August 12.
We finally received feedback from Steam, but with some additional changes requested and another review still required afterwards, there simply isn’t enough time left for me to comfortably promise Wednesday’s launch.
Rather than wait until the very last moment and hope everything gets cleared in time, I’ve decided to postpone the release and make sure everything is properly approved before committing to another date.
A new release date will be announced as soon as we receive the final green light from Steam. I don’t expect that to be too far away.
The Buried Below demo will remain available while we wait, and work on the full game continues as normal.
Thank you for all the support, feedback and wishlists so far, and especially to everyone who was looking forward to playing on August 12.
The tape will start playing again.
