Greetings!

Hello! GlassHalfMoon here with the first Dev Log for Paddle Legends. I just wanted to take a moment here at the top to thank everyone who checked out Paddle Legends during Steam Next Fest and added it to their wishlist!

What's Next?

As some of you may have seen, I've been pushing out updates to the Demo. This was mainly due to changes I made during development for the full game and wanted to bring the parity up for the demo. But speaking on the full game, development is going well! The second campaign is just about finished and I will begin work on the third campaign soon!

Here's a sneak peak at a new level, enemy, and player paddle:

Without spoiling much, there is a certain nautical theme taking shape for the second campaign!

As it stands, Campaign 2 adds 5 new player paddles, 7 new levels, 6 new enemy paddles, and of course 2 new bosses.

Another sneak peak:

I wonder what that blue line do.

One big update that I've done to the game is give each paddle (minus the starting paddle) its own signature ability. So now instead of just being immune to their starting ball, that immunity is baked into an ability. That also now means you can find these abilities as upgrades while you play! I thought this felt better since as you would get different ball upgrades it would sometimes feel bad to not have a way to counter their negative effects.

Wrapping up

Anyways, I think that's about it. Development is ongoing and I will share more when I have more to share!

Thanks for all your support.

-GlassHalfMoon
