This is the first patch that focuses on feedback coming in from (mostly) the demo version of Chronocide. The biggest changes here are the balance tweaks in casual diificulty.
FIXES:
- Sky areas on Quarters map could have ceiling traps
- Catching on fire and then dying quickly, the fire particles were still present after resurrection
- The volume sliders for narrator and voice chat were broken
- Arcane wand projectile impact sounds were non-existent for whatever reason
CHANGES:
- Endless enemy wave algorithm rewritten, now considers different probability for each enemy type
- Demo version: Show more clearly which levels are included + some shameless plugging after the 4 levels are completed
- If no cutscenes are unlocked, there is now a text saying that instead of just an empty box
- Help screen is easier to read now and there is less blur behind help texts
- Trap cost shown while looking at places to to put it
BALANCE:
- Casual difficulty - Enemy move speed: 90% -> 80%
- Casual difficulty - Health: 75% -> 65%
- Casual difficulty - Ranged enemy aim time: +50% -> +75%
- Casual difficulty - Wave gold rewards: +20% -> +25%
