Multi-Zone Support

Dreadmoor's buildings now run as their own separate zone behind the scenes, the first real use of a new multi-zone system. Instead of one single world simulation handling everything, the game can now split areas into independently-run zones, spreading out the load as the game grows. This also lays the groundwork for instanced content down the line, like private dungeon runs or personal housing. No change to how you play, just infrastructure for a healthier server as the world grows.

Fixes

  • Dragon Robe and Dragon Plate Mail no longer drop from regular undead mobs; they're exclusive to Lord Valdrak, as intended.

  • Fixed the Nightweave Hat not dropping anywhere; it now drops from Gnoll alongside the rest of the Nightweave set.

  • Soulweave Pack now drops from Gravewarden.

  • Fixed a bug where a brief connection drop could leave a duplicate, non-interactable NPC/mob rendered at its last known position after the client silently reconnected.

  • Oak Staff crafting no longer requires a Quality Gem; it now asks for 2 Small Fangs instead, a much easier ingredient to come by.
