Until now a pet you found was a row in a collection log. Now the ones you own walk along a strip under the stats on every tab - pausing, turning around, bobbing as they go. Hover one to see which it is. They inherit whatever theme you are running. If you would rather not have creatures wandering under your numbers, Settings has a switch. Off means gone: no sprites, nothing running, and the strip leaves the layout entirely.
The Pets tab has a farm now. It sits inside a little browser window - address bar, minimize, maximize, close - because these creatures are made of input, and a webpage is the only honest habitat for them. Solid ground, a fence, a barn, a sun, and your pets grazing across three rows of depth. It shows the species count in the title bar. Twelve to find.
The app will ask you for a Steam review exactly one time after a good pet drop, and only after you have used it for a while. Two buttons, and whichever you press, it never asks again. I am putting this in the notes because it is the kind of thing that should be announced rather than discovered. Reviews are the single biggest thing that decides whether Steam ever shows a small app to anyone, and this one has two.
The first frame on launch was painted purple before the theme loaded. It matches the theme now.
Launching the app while it was already running started a second copy, with a second input hook and both writing the same save. It now focuses the copy that is already open. If you auto-start with Windows and also launch from Steam, this one was for you.
