1.6.1 - Combo meter fix, and achievements that could never be earned

Fixed

  • The combo meter was stuck at 1. It could never read higher, no matter
how fast you clicked, which also meant Combo Starter, Combo King and Combo God
were impossible to earn. The meter counts properly now and the multiplier
    actually moves.

  • Night-time stats were reset every time the app started. Your night
clicks, early-morning clicks and the record of which hours you had been active
were saved to disk but never read back, so each launch wiped them. That made
Perfect Day and Night Owl only winnable inside a single unbroken session, and
quietly reset the night-click achievements every time you opened the app.

  • Night clicks were counting seconds, not clicks. "1,000 night clicks"
really meant a thousand separate seconds of clicking after midnight.

  • Lucky Number's twin, Palindrome, was nearly unhittable. It needed your click total to land exactly on a palindrome at the moment of a once-a-second check, so fast clicking skipped straight past. It now notices when you pass one - the same fix Lucky Number and Fibonacci already got.

Performance

  • Less disk activity while clicking. The app was writing to its save file about five times a second while you clicked, which kept antivirus scanning the file continuously. Those writes are batched now. This mostly matters at high click rates.
