One Dice Dungeon Delve: 1.0.0 Release Notes

This is the Early Access exit release. It has been a long stretch since the last public update, and this is the largest patch the game has ever shipped: four weeks of work that never went out the door until now. Everything below has been sitting in development and is reaching players for the first time in 1.0.0.

Highlights
- The full Daily Card system is live. All 22 cards are implemented and ready to reshape your daily run.
- Boss encounters now have a proper cinematic reveal when you enter a Gelatinous Dice or Blood Dragon lair.
- A serious leaderboard integrity bug is fixed. A worse run's gear and ghost data could silently overwrite a better run's Steam entry. That is resolved, and past affected entries are labeled and repaired.
- The tutorial can no longer softlock your save. A rare but real bug could permanently block your stairs after finishing the tutorial. Fixed.
- Local crash logging. If the game ever crashes, a report is now saved to your save folder that you can send us to help track it down.

New: The Daily Card System
Every Daily Challenge run now draws one of 22 cards, each one changing how that run plays:

- The Fool: your class cycles every floor
- The Tower: the entire dungeon generates as one connected sprawl
- The Emperor: a Gelatinous Dice boss appears every 6 floors instead of every 12
- Death: survive one fatal blow with a one-time revival
- The Lovers: recruit a one-time follower who fights at your side
- The World: cycles through a different sub-card effect every floor
- The Hanged Man: locks a floor's exit until a condition is met
- The Hierophant: gates floor progression with its own rules
- The Star: heals you when your HP is low
- The Moon: reveals the full floor and freezes Minotaurs in line of sight
- The Wheel of Fortune: spin for a random bonus or penalty
- Plus The Sun, Justice, Judgement, The Hermit, The Magician, Temperance, Strength, The Devil, The Chariot, The High Priestess, and The Empress rounding out the full 22-card set, each with its own combat or run modifier

Every run shows an in-run HUD badge for the active card and its effect, and the pause screen displays a full description. Cracked/pirated copies are locked into a two-card pool of the worst modifiers for Daily Challenge as an anti-piracy measure; this has no effect on legitimate copies.

New: Cinematic Boss Reveals
Walking into a Gelatinous Dice or Blood Dragon lair now triggers a proper drop-in cinematic instead of the boss simply being present on the tile.

Leaderboards and Stats
- Fixed a real leaderboard data-integrity bug: mismatched score matching could let a worse run's gear, kill history, and ghost replay silently attach to a better run's Steam leaderboard entry. This has been fixed at the root, and previously affected entries are now correctly repaired or clearly labeled if a match cannot be verified.
- Leaderboard and stats cards (the "baseball card" run summaries) now share one unified rendering path, fixing several display bugs including missing card/crown data.
- Fixed a same-day repeat Daily Challenge run overwriting the wrong leaderboard entry.
- Fixed a bug where continuing a run past midnight could mis-attribute the daily date and card.

Combat Fixes
- Fixed a longstanding bug where ranged attacks could be used without a bow or ranged weapon equipped.
- Fixed enemy fireballs visually leading their target instead of trailing behind them.
- Slowed and rebalanced enemy ranged attack pacing.
- Fixed the Red Dragon's ranged attack being blocked by other monsters standing in its line of sight.
- Fixed the Judgement card's raised skeleton immediately retaliating for a double attack; it now correctly waits a turn.
- Fixed Berserker's Bloodlust chain landing on top of a Judgement skeleton incorrectly.
- Centralized Blood Dragon defeat bookkeeping so future kill paths cannot miss victory rewards, with a fallback safety check in place.

Character Creation
- Both the Watch Ghost flow and custom seed run flow now correctly route through character creation before class selection.

Tutorial
- Fixed a tutorial autosave softlock: the tutorial's own floor transition could write a real autosave, and continuing from it could permanently block your stairs. This is fixed.
- Fixed the tutorial Dragon overlapping the player's tile before its scripted death sequence.
- Removed hardcoded keyboard letter references from tutorial dialogue ("Press R", etc.) so instructions correctly reflect controller or Steam Deck input instead of assuming a keyboard.
- The main menu now shows "Continue" instead of "Tutorial" once you have a save, so returning players are not routed back through the tutorial by default.

Localization
- Fixed two garbled Russian class names.
- Added Spanish, Russian, and Chinese store page copy.

Under the Hood
- Local crash logging added. If the game crashes, a report (timestamp, version, platform, and what you were doing) is now saved to your save folder alongside the existing debug log, so a crash can be diagnosed from a player report instead of a blind "it broke" review.
- A secret bow skeleton transformation was added as a hidden interaction. No spoilers here.

Thank you for sticking with this game through Early Access. This update represents the single biggest content and stability push it has ever had, and 1.0.0 is where all of it finally reaches you.
