The Shareholders continue to improve your Software Product.
Resterludes are now better at not skipping past intro/outro scenes if you quit in the middle of one of them. Intro and outro scene quality remains subjective, so this update may or may not be a good thing.
No other Quality of Life changes have been implemented at this time, as the Quality of One’s Life is determined primarily by factors outside of this Software Product’s control. Also, we didn’t get to them.
Fixed a number of bugs related to achievements not triggering during battle replays. This in itself is an achievement.
Fixed a bug that caused some buttons to be interactable when they shouldn’t have been or uninteractable when they should have been. Buttons that are sometimes, rarely, never, or always either meant to be or meant not to be fully, partially, or impartially interactable remain unchanged.
Fixed a number of incorrectly gated dialogue options so that they are now gated behind the correct relationship level. Note: it remains our stance that there is no “correct” relationship level.
Fixed a bug causing some passive liabilities to register as active liabilities. They were more like lie-abilities, amiright? Update: the person who wrote the “joke” in that previous sentence has since been fired.
Fixed a softlock that would occur when Grigsby got hit by the Collector’s flamethrower trap. There are better ways to appreciate Grigsby’s hotness.
Fixed a softlock that would occur when killing the Collector’s weft stalker too quickly. We clearly underestimated players’ foamy penchant for highly efficient murder.
Fixed an unfortunate design interaction that would cause Sylvie to die when equipped with the Quota Collar during The Girlypups battle. Which was unfortunate, because she looks so good in it. So we imagine.
Fixed bug that caused the Hotties Unite battle to be winnable early. Hotties never finish early.
A handful of minor bugfixes, a smattering of trivial bugfixes, and a skosh of inconsequential bugfixes.
The Shareholders are aware of the following issues currently affecting the Software Product (their vigilance is second to none):
Combat barks sometimes play when they shouldn’t, referencing story beats that don’t make sense. Either that or certain characters are extremely prone to denial or particularly prescient.
After beating the game, players are still returned to the serenity of an empty title screen where no action can be performed other than the blissful contemplation of one’s accomplishments.
There is still no ability to return to the main menu without quitting and reloading the game. The main menu prefers to remain elusive and requests that you not look it directly in the eye.
HR Trainings don’t display time and burnout costs if players don’t currently have enough time to undergo an HR training. To avoid this problem, please complete all HR Trainings immediately and at the cost of all other activities.
Voice Lines play at inconsistent volumes. The volume of this problem is significant.
There remain occasional missing ability icons, cut-off text, and mismatched VO/text lines. These things exist to keep players on their toes. Like ballerinas.
A seemingly limitless number of typos remaine.
