Hello, survivors!

Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions. This update adds a "Safehouse Snapshot" freeze-frame review to endings, introduces camera rotation controls in follow view mode, reinforces save security, and comprehensively optimizes defensive support challenges, missions, and various interactive experiences. Details are as follows:

Version: 1.0.15876

[Survival & Interaction]

  • New "Safehouse Snapshot" Added to Endings: Upon reaching an ending, an additional page featuring a freeze-frame review of your Home will appear—using the Home at the moment of ending as the background, with one photo saved for each floor, and tallying how many people this safe house can sustain and how strong a zombie horde it can withstand. This tally will also be included in the survival record scoring.

  • Survival Record Optimization: A new "Challenge Ending Achieved This Run" section has been added to the ending survival record, and layout for smaller windows has been optimized.

  • Defensive Support Challenge Optimization: Fixed the issue where distress calls could still be received during the countdown period when sending Drones to lure zombie hordes, preventing mission completion; when one Drone is out luring zombie hordes, other Drones at Home will no longer be grayed out together; defensive support challenges no longer appear in endless mode.

  • Zombie Horde End Optimization: After repelling the final wave of a zombie horde, the crisis will be immediately resolved without waiting until the scheduled time.

  • Mission Fix: Fixed the issue where certain warehouse manager questline missions (such as using Scrap Paper to seal door gaps) couldn't be completed even when materials were clearly available at Home. Now after accepting these missions, they can be completed at the corresponding Furniture.

  • "Cat at the Door" Optimization: During zombie hordes, Cat-related event notifications will be temporarily hidden and automatically restored after the crisis ends, fixing the issue where clicking the Front Door had no response during zombie hordes.

  • Choice Dialog Optimization: Choice dialogs for "Cat at the Door" series events now include a countdown timer, and will automatically proceed with the default option when time expires.

  • Talent Fix: Fixed an issue where the "Light Sleeper" talent did not work on beds purchased from the shop.

  • Storage Label Addition: Added "Fertilizer" as a new category label for storage furniture, which also supports one-click placement by label.

  • Furniture Button Optimization: Buttons on mission-related Furniture now only appear after the corresponding mission has been accepted, preventing accidental clicks.

[Controls & Stability]

  • New Camera Rotation: In follow camera mode, hold the . or , key to rotate the camera left or right around the character. The camera will automatically return to center when released. Both keys can be rebound in settings.

  • Save File Security Enhancement: Strengthened the save file writing process and fixed the rare issue where save file lists and Achievement records could become corrupted after unexpected power outages or forced shutdowns during gameplay.

  • Mental Toughness Button Fix: Fixed an issue where the "Mental Toughness" trigger button was blocked by the inventory button and difficult to click. The button is now integrated into the left toolbar.

  • Codex Display Fix: Fixed an issue where the end nodes of longer milestone bars at the bottom of the codex were not visible.

  • Tab Switching Tips: When opening the backpack, crafting table, or cooking interface for the first time each day, a tip will appear showing that you can use A/D keys to switch between left and right tabs. This tip won't appear again after being used once.

[Scenes & Performance]

  • Scene Pathfinding Optimization: Optimized the movement routes of zombies in the Wage Slave's post-disaster Home to reduce wall-clipping attacks, and also improved pathfinding in the warehouse manager's pre-disaster Home.

  • Tutorial Item Fix: Fixed the issue where items already collected during the story would reappear after loading a save file.

[Story & Text]

  • Neighbor Reply Optimization: Thank you messages received after sending supplies are now more varied, with multiple new replies added.

  • Cell Phone Group Chat Optimization: Reduced repetitive daily messages that appeared in community groups during the late game.

  • Text and Translation Optimization: Added translations for the Endless Mode banner and other spots, and fixed punctuation display in some prompt text.

Thank you for your support and feedback! If you encounter any bugs or have suggestions during gameplay, please feel free to let us know through the feedback form, and we will address them as soon as possible.

In addition to continuously polishing existing content, we are also working in parallel on designing and developing future free update content. For specific plans, please refer to the update roadmap. We will strive to bring you a richer and more immersive gaming experience.

Good luck to all survivors—stock up on supplies and survive to the end!
