This update improves quest direction, healing and rest mechanics, party member cards, and the generation of adventure choices.Adventure Choices
The next steps the game offers you are now grounded in your actual surroundings: available actions, active quests, and backpack items are prioritized when generating options
Options can now include longer-term plans, not just immediate actions
Creative, out-of-the-box choices are more likely to appear when the situation calls for them
Quest Objectives
Quest objectives are now more stable — they act as strategic guides rather than resetting every turn
Objectives now merge with new information instead of being replaced wholesale, keeping your long-term quest direction consistent
Rest & Recovery
Resting heals noticeably more, for both short rests and a proper night's sleep.
Injuries and wear now visibly improve as you recover — a good rest sheds "severely" qualifiers, and a meaningful rest clears major negative conditions instead of just ticking numbers up.
Resting in dangerous or hostile places is now less effective, capping out at a minor recovery.
Critical hits deal slightly less damage, and regular heals restore a bit more, keeping fights closer to the balance they should be.
Party Member Cards
Character role class (e.g. "Warrior", "Mage") is now displayed directly on the party member card instead of the active/inactive status
The combat system is also currently being overhauled. However, these changes did not make it into the current release.
