Good evening operators!

Over the past few weeks, the team at Attack Dog Studios has been sifting through all of the feedback you guys gave regarding the initial launch of our technical test demo!

We've already implemented and tweaked several things, but the team is very excited to get the communities thoughts regarding one very specific (and fairly monumental) change.

Our initial build revolved around Unreal Engines dynamic lighting solution, Lumen. While this solution looks nice and gives a ton of realistic light bounce and fill, it is very computationally heave to say the least. In an effort to try and bring everyone's experience up to what we feel is a must in a competitive shooter, we have overhauled the build to use a different lighting solution that is substantially less heavy and thus, should yield better performance for all systems, although the exact benefits will be unique to your individual hardware. Still, Method of Entry is a competitive shooter, and while we have our vision for graphical fidelity and the overall vibe of the game/world we're building, we also know that frames matter, and now you should hopefully have more of them.

The new build will be out tomorrow (Monday), so please stop by and let us know your thoughts on this new solution, as well as any other feedback you may have.

The team also wanted to remind players that the code breaker challenge will expire at the end of this week, and afterwards the locked door to the secret demo area will be opened for all players. Those of you still wanting to try and break the code have until Friday to do so.

Operators that have broken the code and placed in the time trials finals will receive their unique "Demo Specialist" roles in the discord at that time as well.

As always, the ability for the team to address the community is a blessing and would not be possibly without your support so from all of us to all of you, thank you and we'll see you for the next one!

This is a huge milestone for the team. When we started Method of Entry, the goal was simple: build a grounded slow paced 5v5 tactical shooter inspired by the golden age of FPS games. Seeing over 10,000 of you connect with that vision genuinely means a lot to us. A Massive Thank You A big t…Game update22 Jun 2026Demo Patch FeedbackGood evening Operators! Now that we've had a couple days of feedback under our belt the dev team is leaning into implementing some of the suggestions we've gotten. One point in particular that kept coming up was the fish eye lens on the player camera that was making some players feel queasy or disoriented. We will be pushing out a new build shortly that removes that fish eye effect and are curi…
