Method Of Entry · published

Greetings Operators,
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who downloaded our Technical Alpha Demo, ran through the training grounds, and shared detailed feedback over the past couple of months. Seeing the response and crossing over 10,000 wishlists was a massive milestone for our team, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.
While the team took some well deserved summer downtime to recharge with family, we have also been quietly grinding away behind the scenes to get Method of Entry looking and running at its absolute best.
One of the biggest talking points from community feedback was balancing visual fidelity with rock solid competitive performance. To address this, we took a deep dive under the hood and completely overhauled our lighting pipeline.
We just released a brand new devlog breaking down the technical journey, explaining why we moved away from baked lighting and standard DX12 Lumen, and showcasing our new DX11 Lumen custom pipeline that delivers high visual fidelity alongside a massive boost in performance and framerate stability.

These performance upgrades and visual tweaks are already live right now in our Technical Demo build on Steam, so you can jump straight into the shooting range and feel the difference yourself.
Behind the scenes, our primary focus remains locked on level design, matchmaking architecture, and bug fixes as we push toward our next major milestone: getting our 5v5 PvP open playtests live.
Check out the video, let us know your thoughts in the comments or over on our official Discord server, and don't forget to wishlist Method of Entry to stay up to date on future playtests!
Thank you all for the support,
The Attack Dog Studios Team
