Hello Blacksmiths!

They say War Never Changes, but we all know it changes everything

As the Order of the Black Swords tightens its grip on the region, many people are forced to find new ways to survive, communicate, and resist. While some fight on the battlefield, others wage their war from the shadows.

Today, we’re taking a closer look at one of Sword & Shield Simulator’s most important groups: the elusive Thieves Guild.

Hidden Beneath the Streets

While exploring the winding streets of Danburg, you could come across a hidden entrance leading down into the city’s dark underground tunnels.

Deep below the streets lies the local Thieves Guild.

If you earn the trust of the guild’s Quartermaster and finish a secret task, you’ll unlock rare treasures and opportunities you won’t find anywhere else.

But Danburg is only the beginning of a much bigger adventure.

The Rat

In the ruined temple district of Talstein, another guild operates in secret.

If you complete a series of dangerous quests and earn their trust, you’ll gain access to a hidden cellar that leads into the city’s ancient catacombs.

This is where you’ll meet The Rat.

He’s a charismatic leader of both the local Thieves Guild and the resistance.

His methods might be questionable, but there’s no denying his influence. The Rat becomes one of Richard’s most important allies, helping to organize weapon smuggling for Danburg and sharing key information about Richard’s missing father, Conrad.

Forging Lockpicks

Being a blacksmith can open up unexpected opportunities.

You can craft your own lockpicks at the forge or discover them tucked away in the far corners of the world.

Lockpicks are valuable, but they can break, so it’s important to be prepared before every infiltration.

No two locks are the same: some guard humble doors, while others protect the most heavily fortified secrets…

Crime Has Consequences

There’s always a risk when breaking into houses, temples, or restricted areas.

If a guard catches you, you’ll end up behind bars.

Luckily, prison is not the end there are always ways to slip free.

You might bribe a guard, pick the lock with a stolen lockpick, or slip away into the shadows at night.

And if nothing else works, the Thieves Guild might come to your rescue.

The Thieves Guild is not just a place for rare loot and secret missions.

It is a key part of the resistance, and a valuable ally in Richard's search for his father, and proof that not all heroes fight in the light.
