New route in chapter 1: the Pilgrims' Path
- Before Lord Tharon, pilgrims reached the temple through the forest without going through the citadel. The path is still there, half swallowed by the undergrowth
- It is a route designed to raise Willpower, Social and Crafting
- It has three class passages: the Hollow belongs to the ranger, the Checkpoint to the soldier and the Stairway to the mage. They are passed by the matching class or its escort, and the other classes always have another way through in the same room
- Any character can finish the path, even if you play with just one
- However, all of them have to work together to get the offering that grants a combat skill
- In The Thicket there is something you won't see at first. Whoever pays attention will find a new unique boss, much tougher than Lord Tharon
- The escorts on this route have their own lines for each passage
Offering skills
- At the end of the path you can present an offering to the Goddess, which makes you remember a combat skill from another life
- Soldier, Ram: hits like a Normal Attack and resets the timer on the enemy's next blow. 50 second cooldown
- Ranger, Poisoned Arrow: hits like a Normal Attack, and the poison takes off another 50% of that blow over 5 seconds. 50 second cooldown
- Mage, Magic Missiles: fires 3 missiles that add up to 50% more than a Normal Attack. Against a group, each missile goes to a random enemy. 50 second cooldown
- The skill only lasts for the life in which you get it, and it already works against Lord Tharon
- In lives where you don't have it, it shows in grey as Not learned and combat skips it, but it keeps its place in your attack order
- In Milestones, Magic Missiles shows under Spells learned, and Ram and Poisoned Arrow under Skills learned
Event log
- Many of the messages that were already in the event log have been changed
- Some now refer to quests on the new route
Combat instructions from anywhere
- In Automation, the blow by blow fights under Room actions have a ⚙ gear
- The gear opens that fight's box without you having to be in the room, so you can set up your attack order in advance
- It shows the enemy's life, how many there are if it is a group, how much each of its blows takes off and your attacks, without the timing of each one
- Changes are saved on that fight right away
- Blow by blow fights now carry two crossed swords ⚔ in the title
Counterattack no longer slows fights down
- The guard still blocks the enemy's blows for 5 seconds, but while it lasts the soldier's Normal Attack keeps filling up
- The heavy blow comes out when the guard ends, or earlier if the enemy has 10% life or less left
- Before, the soldier stood still for 5 seconds in every fight, so fights that were won instantly took 5 seconds each
- With an escort, the escort also keeps attacking during the guard
Life on Rebirth
- Next to Life on the HUD you can see how much maximum Life you will gain on the next Rebirth, and it goes up every time a consumable heals you
- Its tooltip breaks it down into food and potions, with how much each one has healed this life
Map
- The map shows only the rooms you have visited. Undiscovered exits no longer appear
- The gear on the room you are editing and the fork icon are gone. The room you are editing still stands out by its border
Wiki
- In the combat box there is a W button that opens the article The combat system
- New Combat section, with The combat system and Class skills, which already includes the offering skills
- The Escorts page explains escorts between your characters: Asking for help and Offering help
- At the end of each article there is a button to move on to the next one in the same section
- Articles are easier to read, with subheadings and bold text
Tooltips
- Every tooltip has a new look, in the color of its area: red in combat, blue for Life and healing
- The long room tooltips are now cards, with a title and an explanation
- The combat skills tooltip is bigger and says what each attack does: how much it takes off, damage in Stealth, range, guard and cooldown
