STEAM COMMUNITY MARKET IS NOW AVAILABLE!
The Steam Community Market integration is now available in Eclipsia!
Players can now export supported Eclipsia assets to their Steam Inventory and trade them through the Steam Community Market.
This system is separate from the regular Eclipsia Marketplace and uses Steam Inventory and the Steam Community Market infrastructure.
WHAT CAN BE TRADED?

Heroes of ALL rarities can be exported to Steam:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Mythic
Ancient
Celestial
Eclipse
EQUIPMENT
Only high-rarity equipment can be exported:
Ancient
Celestial
Eclipse
Supported equipment includes:
Weapons
Helmets
Armor
Gloves
Boots
Rings
HOW TO EXPORT AN ASSET
Open:
Marketplace → Steam Market → Export Eligible Assets
Only assets that meet all export requirements will appear as eligible.
Equipment requirements:
The item must be unequipped.
The item must be unlocked.
The item must be an eligible Steam Market rarity.
Hero requirements:
The hero must be removed from your active party.
All equipment must be unequipped from the hero.
The hero must be unlocked.
Once the export is completed, the asset leaves your Eclipsia inventory and becomes part of your Steam Inventory.
This is intentional.
An exported asset cannot remain simultaneously under normal Eclipsia custody and Steam custody.
STEAM INVENTORY
After exporting an asset, use:
Marketplace → Steam Market → Steam Inventory / Return
You can also use the OPEN STEAM INVENTORY button to access your Steam Inventory directly.
The REFRESH button can be used to synchronize the current Steam Inventory state with Eclipsia.
SELLING ON THE STEAM COMMUNITY MARKET
Once an eligible asset is available in your Steam Inventory, it can be listed through the Steam Community Market.
You can also use:
OPEN ECLIPSIA COMMUNITY MARKET
from inside Eclipsia to open the Community Market page directly.
Transactions on the Steam Community Market use the Steam Wallet and are separate from Eclipsia Gems, Gold, and the regular in-game Marketplace.
Steam Community Market availability, account restrictions, transaction rules, fees, and Steam Wallet requirements are controlled by Steam.
RETURNING AN ASSET TO ECLIPSIA
Assets stored in Steam can be returned to Eclipsia through:
Steam Market → Steam Inventory / Return
Before an asset can be returned:
It must be available in your Steam Inventory.
It cannot currently be listed for sale on the Steam Community Market.
If the asset is listed, cancel the Steam Market listing first.
Once Steam confirms that the asset is available again, Eclipsia can safely return it to the game.
HERO TRADING RULES
Heroes require special handling because their progression contains account-specific and seasonal information.
If a hero is transferred through Steam to a DIFFERENT Eclipsia account:
Seasonal Level resets to Level 1.
Seasonal XP resets to 0 XP.
The hero arrives unequipped.
This prevents seasonal progression from being directly transferred between accounts.
However, if the hero is returned to the ORIGINAL exporting owner, Eclipsia restores the authoritative hero snapshot associated with that export.
This allows players to temporarily move their own hero through Steam without permanently destroying its original exported state.
EQUIPMENT DATA
Exported equipment is tracked using its authoritative Eclipsia asset data.
Depending on the item, this may include:
Item Level
Upgrade Level
HP
Attack
Magic Attack
Defense
Magic Defense
Critical Chance
Critical Damage
Life Steal
Attack Speed
Percentage-based attributes
The Steam Inventory representation and Eclipsia backend work together to preserve the authoritative identity of the exported asset.
SECURITY AND ASSET CUSTODY
The Steam Market system was designed around server-authoritative asset custody.
Every export is tracked by Eclipsia.
The system records information such as:
The Eclipsia account involved
The linked Steam account
The exported asset instance
The Steam Item Definition
The Steam Inventory item
Export status
Return/import status
Reconciliation status
Assets are not duplicated between Steam and Eclipsia.
If an operation reaches an inconsistent state, Eclipsia can keep the asset under safe custody until the operation can be verified.
STEAM MARKET VS ECLIPSIA MARKETPLACE
These are two separate systems.
Eclipsia Marketplace
Uses the Eclipsia economy.
Uses currencies such as Gems or Gold.
Transactions happen entirely inside Eclipsia.
Steam Community Market
Uses Steam Inventory.
Uses the Steam Community Market.
Transactions use Steam Wallet.
Assets leave normal Eclipsia custody while they are stored on Steam.

PLEASE REPORT ANY ISSUES
The Steam Market integration involves Eclipsia, Steam Inventory, and the Steam Community Market.
If you experience an unexpected export, import, return, inventory synchronization issue, or missing asset, please use the Report Bug feature and provide as much information as possible.
Please avoid repeatedly exporting or returning the same asset if you believe an operation is still processing.
Thank you for helping us test and improve one of the biggest additions to Eclipsia's economy.
See you in Eclipsia!
