Public Playtest Begins August 20!

Greetings, Heroes!

Deadline Savior will officially launch in Steam Early Access on August 31, but before that, we're holding a 10-day Public Playtest!

This playtest will feature content very close to the Early Access version, and everyone is welcome to join. More importantly, your save data from this Public Playtest can be carried over to the full version, so if you're ready to begin your adventure, you won't have to start all over again when the game launches!

Public Playtest Schedule

Starts:

August 19 at 07:00 PM (UTC-7)

Ends:

August 29 at 07:00 PM (UTC-7)

After the Public Playtest ends, Deadline Savior will officially launch in Steam Early Access on August 31.

What's Included in the Public Playtest

The features available in this playtest are largely the same as those in the Early Access version launching in August. You can get a head start on your adventure, build your character and experiment with different builds, collect equipment and items, and experience the game's long-term progression systems.

The progress you make during the playtest can also be carried over to the full version.

Carrying Your Public Playtest Save Over to the Full Version

Your save data from this Public Playtest can be carried over to the full version.

If you'd like to continue using your playtest save after the full version launches, please make sure Steam Cloud is enabled so your progress can be synced successfully.

Also, please make sure to close the game before the Public Playtest ends on August 30.

If the game is still running when the playtest ends, Steam Cloud may not be able to sync your save data properly.

If this happens, please back up your local save data. After installing the full version, you can manually copy your backup save data to the full version's save location to continue your progress.

About Steam Achievements

Because the Public Playtest and the full version use different Steam App IDs, Steam achievements from the full version will not unlock directly during the playtest.

But don't worry!

The game will still record the achievement requirements you've completed in your save data. When you carry your save over to the full version, the game will perform a one-time achievement sync and automatically unlock any Steam achievements you already completed during the Public Playtest.

This means you won't need to complete the same requirements again just for the achievements.

About the Existing Demo

The existing Demo will be temporarily unavailable during the Public Playtest.

It will become available again after the game launches.

Please note that if you participate in the Public Playtest, your playtest save data will not be compatible with the Demo.

[h2>Encountered a Problem?[/h2]

If you encounter any bugs, unexpected behavior, or other issues during the Public Playtest, please use the in-game Bug Report link to let us know through the Steam Discussions forum.

Every report helps us further improve the game before launch.

This will be the final Public Playtest before Deadline Savior officially launches.

Whether this is your first time setting foot on the Deadline Continent or you've participated in one of our previous tests, you're welcome to join the adventure starting August 20.

Focus in the real world. Adventure in another timeline.

See you in the Public Playtest on August 20!
