This update includes numerous performance improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements to in-game guidance and usability.
The private multiplayer protocol has been updated from version 1 to version 2.
As a result, players using the updated version of LIMSCAPE can no longer join the same room as players using an older version. When using private multiplayer, please try to ensure that all participants are using the latest version of LIMSCAPE.
We have also added an alert explaining that players may be unable to join the same room if their version of LIMSCAPE is not up to date.
Improved User StaticMesh loading speed by approximately 35%.
Improved baseline FPS in outdoor environments by approximately 10–20%.
※ Performance improvements may vary depending on the level and PC configuration.
A new setting has been added to the MovementSetting Actor, allowing creators to choose where the player respawns after death.
Available respawn destinations:
Nearest SavePoint
Level Start Point
Return To Menu
Same Position
A new option has been added to Option Settings that allows the water-droplet effect shown after leaving water to be disabled.
The editing behavior of the Pendulum Actor has been improved, fixing an issue where its position would lag behind while being moved.
※ The Pendulum rope simulation continues to run in Edit Mode. This change may also cause a slight increase in editing performance cost.
Fixed an issue where playing a level through LIMSCAPERS could change its level name to MyNewLimscape. The configured level name is now preserved correctly.
Fixed an issue where users with multibyte characters in their Windows username could encounter an error while generating a compressed file, preventing uploads to LIMSCAPERS.
Fixed an issue where old meshes or previews could remain after reimporting or overwriting a custom mesh with an FBX file of the same name.
Fixed an issue with character movement caused by a previous lighting change to the EnvironmentSetting Actor.
The EnvironmentSetting Actor can now only be selected by clicking its billboard. The dome itself can no longer be clicked to select it.
Fixed an issue that prevented custom door sounds from being changed.
Fixed an issue that prevented the custom door sound delete button from being used.
The default Start Time for custom door sounds is set to 1.5 seconds. When using a short sound, it may not play unless Start Time is changed to 0, which can make it appear as though the sound was not changed correctly.
Fixed an issue where players could jump while using a Gravity Changer.
Fixed an issue where the falling sound could continue playing during slow falls after using a Gravity Changer.
Completely reviewed the UI and other translations, correcting mistranslations and unnatural wording across many languages.

After selecting an Actor, hover over its pickup button to view an explanation of that Actor.
We are investigating an issue where some controller functions, including camera movement, may occasionally stop working.
Because the issue has been difficult to reproduce consistently, investigation and development of a fix are continuing.
