Relax Scramble now tells you what every word you play means - and co-op finally plays like single-player. 💜

📖 Word Meanings

This is the big one: the game now knows what your words mean. A gentle toast shows the definition the moment a word is accepted, and in the word history you can open any word to read all of its senses (click it, or press R3 on a gamepad). It works completely offline, in every one of the game's languages, and it understands inflected forms - play "geese" and you'll get the entry for "goose". English definitions come from WordNet, the rest from Wiktionary. Also new: French, the game's eighth language, with its own interface, dictionary, quests and definitions.

🤝 Co-op grows up

The two-player screen now has everything single-player has:

• The full HUD - daily quests, score and moves, the word & hint history log and the controls popup are all on the co-op board now.

• Shared hints - either player can spend a star to reveal the next word, and the glowing tap order shows up for both of you.

• Your own stars, quests and stats - golden letters you collect earn you stars, and the words you play count toward your own daily quests and lifetime statistics, just like solo.

• Suggestion pings - tap a letter on your partner's half to softly highlight it for them. It clears the moment they pick it up. Works both ways, no voice chat needed.

• A cleaner board - no more boxed frames; each half sits under its player's name, with wider spacing so tiles never crowd each other.

✨ A new look for the menus

The main menu, Single Player, Settings, Statistics, Customization and the co-op lobby were rebuilt in a calmer, more game-like style, with the logo spelled out in board tiles and a prompt bar that always shows your current keyboard or gamepad controls. Everything scales up on large monitors and still fits the Steam Deck screen.

🔧 Fixes & under the hood

• Hint order numbers are no longer clipped on round tiles, stay readable on golden ones, and no longer get relabelled when you tap the hinted letters out of order.

• Daily quest progress and hint counting fixes, and the word meaning panel now animates closed as well as open.

• The game moved to a much newer Chromium, the window now runs sandboxed with a strict content policy, and the packaged build is smaller and starts quicker.
