Visual & UI Overhaul
Dynamic Dialogue Portraits:
All character portraits are now fully dynamic, reacting to the conversation with expressive animations.
Battle UI Cleanup:
The battle details UI now automatically disappears after a skill is used, keeping the screen clear.
Targeting Indicators:
When using a skill or item on an ally:
A moving target icon appears at the top left, directly above the chosen character.
A corresponding highlight appears at the bottom of the screen in the party stats panel for easy identification.
Starting Tunics:
The starting tunic has been updated to match the higher quality one sold by the Blacksmith.
Tactical Combat & Obstacles
Environmental Obstacles:
Crates and barrels now appear as interactive obstacles in battles.
Blocking Melee:
If an obstacle is directly in front of a target, melee attacks are blocked and cannot be performed until the obstacle is destroyed.
Elemental Weakness: These wooden obstacles are highly vulnerable to Fire and Crushing weapons, encouraging strategic gear choices.
Empty Battle Logic: If a battle consists only of crates or barrels, the player wins automatically after the first successful attack run.
New Enemy Formations:
5 new enemy formations have been added for fresh tactical challenges.
Inventory & Movement
Full Inventory Penalty:
When your inventory is full, a clear message appears at the bottom of the screen explaining why your character cannot run. Manage your loot wisely to maintain mobility.
World & Respawn Improvements
Village Spawn Location:
Loading from the village or leaving the Tower now spawns you near the Tower entrance.
New Rebirth Sequence:
Upon dying, the Witch of the Village appears in a special dialogue scene.
You are reborn directly in front of her house, adding narrative weight to death.
Tower Orientation: Entering the Tower now spawns you facing the stairs (the path forward), not the entrance.
