Good day everyone,
In build 2.3.6, Golel now support Ukrainian, Portuguese(Portugal) and Czech.
Localisation is done via AI, and also requires some manual tweaking afterwards.
Full pass through the translation will be done before full release, so there might be some issues with the localization before that.
Let me know if there are any other languages you would like to support next?
Or if you find issues in your own native language.
In the full game progress, I am working on Chapter 3.
Chapter 2 is more or less quite finished.
The Boss battle was updated to be more interesting.
Chapter 3 shape up to be quite nice.
I also add a few surprises for Chapter 3. So Chapter 3 won't look like just another version of Chapter 1 and 2.
Those are small changes that mix up things. So it won't feel like a filler chapter.
Right now the release date is December 2026.
Even if I finish it by December 2026, I might delay it to January or February 2027.
The reason is that December is the only time where it's bad to release a game the whole year. Because a lot of major hits release in that time.
The demo is being updated as well as I keep developing chapter 3.
A few things that the Demo was updated with:
You can now use Ctrl to drag Stacks of items in your inventory.
A few graphical improvements.
Trying to sort full screen window changing issues to not flicker during loading of level.
There is now a bleeding icon on monster that bleeds to make it more clear.
The green bar on the monster HP bar, show potential damage from weapon in hand.
Progess is good right now.
I am very excited to get closer to finishing this game.
I think this game will be a very unique and enjoyable experience.
As always, if you have any questions, feedback, suggestions, notes or anything you want to say. Please reply in the comments or in the discussions.
Thank you,
Ofer.
