Hello everyone, this is Cooka, PD of the SONAK: Story Design Project.
With spring in full bloom this May, I come bearing a very special announcement. We are thrilled to introduce a new Chronicler who will join us in uncovering the records hidden within the Study.
This is Chelly—an artist who has been with SONAK since our earliest days as a tiny team, now four years strong. She is also the very person who illustrated the Erden's Herbshop content we are sharing with you today. Going forward, the story of Erdentuya within the Study will be brought to you together with Chelly.
And with that, let me pass the pen over to Chelly. 🌿
Hello everyone, this is Chelly from SONAK.
Deep within the Study, I have uncovered the records of Erden's Herbshop.
As I push open the door to the Herbshop, Erdentuya greets me with a warm smile.
✦ Meet Erdentuya
Erdentuya is the protagonist of two stories among the Study's 14 tales: "840. The Beginning of an Adventure" and "480. Erden's Herbshop Guide to the Basque United Kingdom's Summer Festival." The third of five siblings, she is a kind-hearted girl who finds joy in the simple moments of everyday life.
This comic was drawn before Erdentuya's final design had been confirmed, so I illustrated her entirely from imagination—and I think there's a certain charm to that version, don't you? I can still vividly remember going through every detail together: her skin tone, hair color, expressions, and each piece of her clothing, until Erdentuya finally came to life. 💭
