Early Beta v0.1.5: Bows, New Equipment & German Localization

Early Beta v0.1.5 is now available!

This update expands combat with bows and ranged enemies, introduces new weapons and armor, adds full German localization, and brings balancing, interface improvements and additional polish throughout the Early Beta.

Bows and Ranged Combat

• Added bows and arrows

• Added ranged combat for the player

• Added enemies equipped with bows

• Added bows and arrows to the inventories of selected merchants

New Weapons and Armor

• Added the Iron Sword

• Added the Steel Sword

• Added the Gambeson

• Added Iron Plate Armor

• Updated the inventories of several merchants to include the new equipment

• Updated the contents of various chests

Combat and Balance

• Rebalanced sword damage

• Rebalanced armor protection

• Added an enemy health bar that appears in the interface during combat

• Added a notification when your shield breaks instead of relying only on the breaking sound

Interface and World Improvements

• Added new inventory icons

• Polished and improved the Early Beta map

• Fixed various issues throughout the playable area

German Localization

Province: Suroste is now fully translated into German.

German is now available as a fourth language alongside English, Russian and Spanish.

Important Save Compatibility Notice

Save files created in Early Beta v0.1.4 are not compatible with v0.1.5.You will need to start a new game after updating to v0.1.5. I apologize for the inconvenience. The changes introduced in this update required modifications that made previous save files incompatible.Thank you to everyone who has played Province: Suroste, shared feedback and reported issues during Early Access.
