Viewer records are now saved encrypted
Chat logs, viewer records (including notes) and stream history are encrypted with a key for each account before they're saved. The first time
you launch after updating, a screen appears while your records move to the new storage. Please keep the app open until it finishes.
Chat display now keeps up with fast-moving chat
It used to show only about 3 messages a second, so faster chat fell behind or dropped messages. With "Squeeze the lanes" in Danmaku, the
number of messages on screen at once is capped so the stream doesn't lag.
Stream history now keeps up to 100 streams
It used to keep only the last 30. Look further back in Analytics.
The app freezes less during busy chats
Fixed chat logs taking a long time to save during busy chats. The app runs more smoothly while you're live, too.
Fixed speech subtitles sometimes not disappearing
If "Time before it fades" was longer than 3 seconds (including the default 6), subtitles stayed on screen after you stopped talking. Also
fixed speech that wasn't turned into a subtitle sometimes showing up after paging.
Fixed missing or wrong translations in speech subtitles
Subtitles were run through language detection every time, so short lines with many kanji could be mistaken for Chinese. The language set for
recognition is now used as is. A failed chat translation also no longer drops subtitle translations in progress.
Fixed overlays sometimes not showing in OBS after opening them in a browser
A tab opened with "Open preview in browser" was taking effects and messages meant for OBS. OBS now keeps showing them even with the tab open.
Fixed scene transition text effects mixing between the default and per-scene settings
When using text effects in scene transitions, they could get mixed up with other settings, so deleting an asset in one also deleted it in the
other.
Fixed overlapping or outdated sounds when previewing action sounds
Previewing several times in a row could play the previous sound. Previewing while a sound is playing now stops the previous one first.
Twitch links in Subscriptions now open in your browser
In Analytics > Subscriptions, the links tried to open inside the app. They now open in your default browser, like everywhere else.
