Creatures as Companions, Not Tools: In Smalland 1, creatures were managed as an extension of the player, another tool in their belt not so different from a hatchet or a weapon. Now in Smalland 2 we’ve revised the overall system to make the creatures you tamed to feel like true companions. You must bond and take care of these animals, and they will take care of you. By bonding with nature, you can form a party of creatures that will use their distinctive abilities to help you in your journey.
Connections: Relationships are at the very heart of your journey. The realms of Smalland 2 are populated with whimsical creatures, each with their own communities, settlements and goals. Interact with the Feyfolk and build your reputation among them, uncover their secrets and learn their crafts.
