Update 0.1.11 is live for the game and the demo.

**Reading a fight**

- Boss attacks keep their colours under every light. In the fire floors they used to sink into the same dark red as the ground.

- Every attack zone has a rim, so its edge is never in doubt. Where two attacks overlap, the tile shows a hatch and a count. Arena-wide pulls show a frame and a name instead of painting every tile.

- Fighters in a dark arena carry a faint light of their own, so they never vanish into the floor.

**Combat**

- Burning, poison and frost show their damage on the fighter each round instead of a miss.

- Fire on the ground lights whoever walks through it, not only whoever ends a turn on it.

**The Crucible (full game)**

- Every tower sets your party even with its first boss, whatever your level, and every floor above hits harder and lasts longer. Towers no longer get easier the higher you climb.

- Tanks, assassins, controllers, telegraphers and swarmers now fight as their names say.

- The Lesser Sphinx watches from the centre of her body, and what she sees, you can see. Nothing done in stopped time is seen; under slowed time it is.

- The Sphinx, the Crommyonian Sow and the Lernaean Hydra stand on two tiles each; Typhon on three, and his fires burn.

**The world**

- Walls running north to south cast one shadow instead of a staircase.

The free demo is on the store page. Next Fest runs October 19–26; Early Access November 27.

The reason: something better landed on the calendar. Campaign Forge will be part of Steam Next Fest in October , and before that the Party-Based RPG Fest (September 14–21) — and both deserve a proper, playable demo rather than a rushed launch.
