## Progression Protection, Pickup Fixes & Smarter Zombies
2.4.6 was ambitious. 2.4.6.5 is here to clean up the crime scene.
**💾 Progression Saving**
- Improved save reliability for challenges, camos, titles, and equipped rewards
- Added automatic recovery from valid backup and interrupted save files
- Progression is now stored separately for each signed-in Steam account
- Existing local progression will migrate automatically
- Challenge rewards are now saved before their unlock notifications appear
**🧟 Zombie Improvements**
- Gas Lurkers now crawl around while undisturbed instead of remaining stationary
- Gas Lurkers can navigate around obstacles before being alerted
- Improved Gas Lurker placement near objective routes and reduced encounter clustering
- Zombies now track moving players more reliably during close-range chases
- Nearby zombies receive faster path updates without increasing the existing navigation workload
- Fixed zombies spawning within view, near screen edges, or behind another zombie
**🎁 Loot Boxes & Pickups**
- Fixed usable pickups becoming difficult to select when multiple items are close together
- Unusable attachments will no longer block interaction with usable rewards underneath them
- Pickups no longer physically obstruct or shove the player
- Fixed weapons losing their attachments when dropped or swapped
- Loot boxes now prioritize attachments for your currently equipped weapon more heavily
- Improved duplicate-weapon prevention when opening multiple boxes
- Loot-box rewards now begin their ground-despawn timers correctly
- Ground-item despawn timers now pause when the game is paused
- Fixed gas-mask filters spawning too low or clipping into the ground
- Improved interaction detection for attachment pickups
**🔫 Weapons & Visuals**
- Fixed laser sights appearing through walls and other solid objects
- Laser beams and impact dots now align correctly when using different FOV settings
- Adjusted the RPG reload from **5 seconds to 4.47 seconds** to match its animation
- Fixed weapon and arm framing when changing FOV or playing at different aspect ratios
- Held weapons and inactive attachments no longer cast unintended shadows into the environment
**🖥️ Settings & Menus**
- Changed the default FOV from 90 to 80
- Existing player-selected FOV values will not be changed
- Improved Settings and Career menu sizing across different resolutions
- Fixed menu positioning and clipping on narrower displays
- Made the Camo and Title lists more compact and easier to browse
- Improved the formatting of weapon and challenge names
**📋 Challenge & Tutorial Clarity**
- Clarified the requirements for **Borrowed Time** and **Full Spectrum**
- Updated the tutorials to better explain how objectives and the closing gas ring reduce the extraction buyout
