It is time, puzzle fans: Play the Order of the Sinking Star demo during Steam Next Fest: June 2026 Edition from Monday, June 15th at 10am PT (5pm UTC) until Monday, June 22nd at 10am PT (5pm UTC)!
That’s right, for the first time, a free playable demo of this upcoming, massive puzzle adventure led by Jonathan Blow, legendary, award-winning game designer behind Braid and The Witness, will be available to players all around the world; no registration, sign-up or purchase required. We can’t wait to see you enter this magical realm and take on some of the puzzles hand-crafted by Jonathan Blow and his team at Thekla, Inc.
In this demo, you’ll be able to explore a selected portion of the game, getting a meaningful slice of the over one thousand puzzles that await you when the full game of Order of the Sinking Star releases later this year. Built for players who crave atmospheric exploration and clever puzzles, Order of the Sinking Star will drop you into a sprawling world filled with interconnected puzzles, and revelations waiting to be uncovered. Rumor has it that the initial launch of the demo will just be the beginning.... more details will be revealed when the time comes.
