PLAYISM’s Bringing the Digital Version of Order of the Sinking Star to Consoles in Japan
Just announced during the PLAYISM GAME SHOW: TGS 2026 Preview Showcase, we’re excited to share that we're officially partnering with PLAYISM (Active Gaming Media Inc.) to co-publish the Japanese console versions of Order of the Sinking Star! They will be handling the Japanese digital releases on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 this year.
PLAYISM has a long history of championing exceptional indie games and bringing quality games to Japan with incredible care and attention to detail -- so we’re thrilled to partner with them. Together with full regional co-publishing support and dedicated marketing across Japan, thanks to our partnership with PLAYISM, we feel confident that we’ll bring Japanese players a deeply tailored, top-tier experience for Order of the Sinking Star’s console release in Japan.
Hands-On Demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026
If you happen to be attending Tokyo Game Show 2026 at Makuhari Messe later this month (September 17–21), you’ll be able to try out the Japanese version of the game before it’s released and even have a chance to get exclusive swag!
PLAYISM will have a public playable demo of Order of the Sinking Star right at their booth. See below for more details.

- When: Thursday, September 17 – Monday, September 21
- Booth Exclusive: Everyone who stops by to play the demo will get an exclusive Slide Puzzle Keychain novelty gift to take home (while supplies last)
