GEKOKUJO: Vagrant Crown · published

This update integrates a new foundation for the third-person 3D version of GEKOKUJO into the main GitHub branch.
This does not mean the game is finished. It means that several parts of the current third-person field, Party travel, Wolf Companion, environments, UI, and motion work have been organized as a foundation for the road toward Early Access.
THE FOUNDATION OF THE THIRD-PERSON RPG
This main branch update brings together a wide range of baseline work: the protagonist and selected character bodies, monsters and animals, buildings and terrain, textures, UI, audio, and QA materials.
For players, these are the pieces that support GEKOKUJO's shift away from a strategy-map-centered structure and toward an RPG where you can walk through the field with companions and a wolf at your side.
MAKING PARTY TRAVEL VISIBLE
In the current third-person field, we are adjusting the screen so that the protagonist, Party Members, and the Wolf Companion can appear together while traveling through forests and roads.
Movement, camera behavior, UI, and environmental presentation are still in development, but this work helps make it clearer where the player is traveling and who is traveling with them.
CONNECTING TO FUTURE UPDATES
The content integrated into main this time also supports features we plan to show more individually in future updates, including Battle, Jobs, the Living World, NPCs, Villages, and the Wolf Companion.
The specifications and visuals may still change, but development continues to focus on the new third-person 3D version of GEKOKUJO and preparation for Early Access.
Thank you for following the development of GEKOKUJO.
