v2026.828.942 — Translation fixes, PC speed check, Models page

This update focuses on translation quality, plus two new tools for checking and managing your setup.

Translation quality fixes

• Wrong model after startup — In some sessions (typically from the second launch onward), translation could silently run with the wrong model configuration and produce much worse output. This is fixed.
• Traditional Chinese output — When translating into Traditional Chinese, the default model could produce Simplified characters. The prompts are fixed across all paths, including Image mode. If you ran into this, restarting Playto also clears previously affected cached lines.

Check this PC's speed

First steps now includes "Check this PC's speed": a short run that measures capture, text recognition, and translation on your machine and rates the result from "Very fast" to "Quite slow". If your PC lands on the slow side, Playto suggests trying Playto Cloud — and once Cloud is activated, the check measures your real Cloud speed too. The numbers are a rough guide, not a benchmark.

Models page

The new Models page (menu → Models) gathers downloaded models in one place: see what is installed and how much space it uses, delete models you no longer need, and clean up leftover files. Settings → Engine now focuses on choosing the model you translate with.

Other improvements

• First steps now stays available in Guide, and completed steps can be reopened and run again.
• Fixed a layout issue on the Home screen in wide windows.
