The Playtest is open.
You can play Atout right now, for free, ahead of the September 30 release. All 22 games and their 40 variants are in — nothing is locked.
How to get in
- Go to the Atout store page.
- Click "Request Access" in the Playtest box.
- Access is granted automatically: Atout Playtest shows up in your library.
Available on Windows, Linux and macOS.
Where your feedback matters most
- Rules — a move rejected when it should be legal, a score that doesn't add up, a round that won't end: that's exactly what we're hunting.
- The AI — too easy, too slow, too perfect? Tell us which game and which level.
- Multiplayer — local and online, with the game code. Disconnections and rejoining are especially useful reports.
- Layout — on small screens and narrow windows, tell us if a button or a card falls off the board.
- Your favourites — the games you keep coming back to, and the ones missing from the collection.
Good to know
- Controller: gamepad navigation is still in progress. For now, keyboard + mouse.
- Online multiplayer: games run through our own server. If a room refuses to start, telling us roughly when it happened really helps.
- Windows: Atout relies on WebView2, preinstalled on Windows 11 and most Windows 10 machines. If it's missing, Windows Update or Microsoft's free installer fixes it.
