Hello centurion,
Today we're excited to give you a first look at the brand-new Greece Campaign coming to Summa Expeditionis.
This new adventure takes place during the Mithridatic Wars. Your journey begins in the worst possible way: a violent shipwreck leaves your expedition stranded on the Greek coast. Your first objective is to locate and rescue the surviving members of your party before carrying out the missions entrusted to you by Rome.
The screenshots shown here are Work in Progress, but they already showcase the new map, which is fully playable while we continue polishing its visual quality.
Compared to the rugged landscapes of northern Hispania in the first campaign, Greece offers a completely different environment. The terrain is much flatter and, for the first time in Summa Expeditionis, the world features sea and rivers, opening up new possibilities for exploration and gameplay.
The ecosystem has also been entirely reworked to reflect a true Mediterranean setting. You'll discover new biomes, along with unique flora and fauna that set this campaign apart from your previous adventures.
This is only the beginning. In upcoming development diaries, we'll introduce the new factions, showcase new buildings, dive deeper into the new questline, and reveal a range of gameplay improvements and brand-new features that will be available across all campaigns.
Stay tuned! There's much more to come.
Roma Victrix.
