Another Adventure Craft Update Is Live!
We’ve pushed another round of fixes and balancing changes to Adventure Craft, with several of these changes coming directly from the feedback players have been sending us.
Thank you again to everyone who has been testing the new build, reporting problems and explaining where progression feels confusing or unnecessarily difficult. We’ve been reading that feedback and working through it as quickly as possible.
This patch includes:
Thicket is easier to clear with early tools — the health of the main Thicket has been reduced by 25%, while secondary Thicket objects have had their health reduced by 50%.
Antidotes now cure Berserk — Antidotes can now remove the Berserk status effect.
Grilled Pork Chop fix — corrected the problem preventing Grilled Pork Chops from being eaten, and updated Pork Chop information.
Iron Pickaxe fix — corrected an issue that prevented Iron Pickaxes from destroying some of the Mysterious Stones found around the Spawn area.
The original Oak Sword has returned — the weapon has been rebuilt and its recipes updated. You can now craft the Oak Sword in addition to the larger Oak Greatsword.
Paladin Nurse attack fix — corrected problems with attacks used by some Paladin Nurses. They now have a standard melee attack available.
Spade damage corrected — fixed incorrect attack/damage values on the Spade.
Using tools to clear Thicket should now be considerably less tedious, although using a torch to set it fire remains the most effective way to remove it.
Be careful when setting large areas of Thicket on fire, however. Fire in Adventure Craft can spread and may have consequences for the surrounding environment.
We’ll continue playing through the early game ourselves and adjusting progression, weapons, enemies and resources as we find areas that need improvement.
We’ve also deployed a substantial update to the official Adventure Craft website and Encyclopedia:

The biggest addition is the new Loot Drops system — essentially our new “What Drops What?” database.
You can now search for an item and see which Characters and Objects can drop it, along with information such as drop chances and conditions.
You can also browse in the opposite direction: open a Character or Object and see everything that it can drop.
This includes hundreds of Characters and Object families and thousands of individual loot relationships taken from the current Adventure Craft game data.
So if you find yourself wondering:
“Where do I get Acorns?”
“What does this Bear drop?”
“What can I find inside this chest?”
the Encyclopedia can now help answer those questions.
We’ve also continued improving the presentation of recipes, equipment, crafting information, item pages and the overall visual style of the website so that it feels much more like Adventure Craft itself.
Adventure Craft and its website are both actively being developed at the same time. We will continue to improve it's look and contents.
For most current game-data questions, the Encyclopedia is becoming the best place to look, but it should not yet be considered completely finished or perfectly balanced.
You may occasionally find strange values or information that is still being reviewed.
For example, equipment statistics and various balance values are still on my development checklist, and some of those will change as I continue playing through the game, reviewing player feedback and balancing progression.
Our longer-term goal is much bigger than simply having a recipe list.
We want the Adventure Craft website to gradually become a comprehensive guide to the entire game — its items, crafting, loot, Characters, Objects, equipment, systems and eventually many other parts of the world.
Rather than waiting until everything is perfect, we’re going to continue releasing useful sections as they become ready and then improve them with our own testing and with feedback from players.
If you spot something on the Encyclopedia that looks wrong, please let us know.
The feedback we’ve received during the Survival Crafting Fest has already led directly to changes in the game, including some of the fixes and balancing adjustments in this patch.
