
Dice Gun Commando 1.0.1 is released!
Its focus is on improving the new-player experience, making it more intuitive to learn how the game is played. It also adds quality of life changes (like making Knockback less wild) and bug fixes (like dice creation mods now actually...you know...creating dice).
The game now asks you to configure your brightness before starting your first run.
You can now view Controls from the Options menu.
You are now warned when a gun has no dice.
Added buttons to the Main Menu for Feedback, Press Kit, and Discord.
Mob Brightness is now a slider instead of a toggle, allowing greater customization of how visible they appear in the dark.
Knockback has been refactored to be less wild and more consistent.
All action icons now use pixel art icons.
Next Wave now progresses with LS on Controller instead of Select.
Hold-to-confirm actions now prevent selecting different options while confirming.
Chicken Transforms now scale in size based on the type of mob being transformed.
Improved how selecting guns feels with RS on Controller.
Added action hints for Inventory and Gun on the bottom of their respective panels.
Guns no longer show shooting animation if they have no dice.
Gun slots now show when they're being hovered.
Clicking on slot keyboard icons now selects the respective slot.
Inventory and Consume Gun experiences now use a detailed version of gun models in their gun lists to make it clearer which gun is being interacted with.
Dice creation mods now actually create dice.
Inconsistency with showing keyboard/controller icons is now eliminated.
Brightness preview now accurately renders how things look in-game.
Fixed inconsistency with mod effect descriptions around creating dice.
Fixed focus sometimes being lost when leveling up multiple times.
Fix boss kills not registering for Stars if they were turned into chickens.
Fix missing collision geometry resulting in mobs and player getting stuck in the walls.
Fix gun swapping not working when all gun slots are full.
Fixed some gun mods showing incorrect types in their info.
