v1.4 Preview: Audio Waveform Visualization & Thumbnail Regeneration

v1.3 is out, and we're already working on the next one.

What's in development:

• Audio Waveform Display

Thumbnails and preview area will support waveform visualization with separate left/right channels.

Single audio files will show total duration and effective audio duration directly in the list view.

Drop in a WAV or MP3 and you can see where the audio content is distributed—no need to play it first to figure out what it contains.

• Manual Thumbnail Regeneration

Some older assets were imported with less-than-ideal thumbnails. The next update will let you regenerate thumbnails for individual assets on demand.

• Database Restructure (under the hood)

The asset storage system has been reworked so different asset types can hold their own detail fields. No visible changes on the surface, but it opens up room for more features down the line.

• Bug Fixes

Fixed DB upgrade compatibility issues and Mac SVN non-ASCII path handling.

————————

These features should roll out over the next one to two weeks. We'll keep you posted on progress.
