v1.7 Update Is Now Live
v1.7 is now available, focused on two things: finding assets faster and handling them more safely. Search, color filtering, image processing, and in-library organization are all updated.
An index must be created before using this feature
Once created, image search is ready to use
Paste or drop a reference image into the search field to find visually similar assets
Or start a search directly from an asset's context menu
Models, indexing, and search all run on your machine — nothing is uploaded
Indexing runs in the background with visible progress and syncs asset changes after completion
CoreML hardware acceleration available on supported macOS systems
Image assets now expose their dominant colors
Click a swatch in the detail panel or pick a color in the filter to find assets with a similar palette
Results are ordered by color similarity — handy for grouping assets in the same visual style
Select multiple images for batch AI matting
Review the result side-by-side with the original before saving a new file or replacing the source
Tinify follows the same review flow
Copy, cut, and paste files and folders inside the library
On duplicate names, choose to replace, keep both, or skip
Copied assets retain their tags, descriptions, and thumbnails
Double-click any asset to open an expanded preview
Filter buttons show the count of active conditions
Hover over a reference image in the search field for a larger view
That's everything in v1.7. If you run into any issues, reach us via Settings > Feedback.
