The day draws near… The grip of the cursemark tightens…

Big news: Cursemark launches in Early Access on Monday, June 8, 2026!

The game will launch into Early Access with three full and complete biomes, each with their own bosses to defeat. This includes the Swamp biome, which hasn’t been in the demo at all and you can get a sneak peak of in the trailer. We’re already working on the fourth biome, Boreal Ridge, which will be added to the game shortly after launch. After that, we’ll be adding one biome at a time until the game is complete and ready for 1.0.  We intend to have seven unique biomes in the game at 1.0 and our plan is to hit that before the end of 2026. Outside of the biomes, Cursemark will essentially be feature complete at Early Access in terms of mechanics and systems. Though I’ll probably end up adding new skills and runes along the way (I don’t think I can help myself here). And, of course, we’ll probably tweak and adjust things during Early Access based on player feedback.

We released a new version of the demo just last week and the feedback so far has been great. If you haven’t tried it yet already, please do!  Since we’re in the home stretch of development, it’s now or never to tell us what you think either here on Steam or in our Discord server. Please also consider leaving a review on the demo, it really helps us.See you in the Unknown Lands on June 8th!
