Big news gamers!!!!!!!!! (but also short post)
After reviewing Microsoft's documentation, I've discovered that I can include the problem DLL in the game's files without any issues. In other words, the game now works on Steam Deck and Linux without any tweaks required!
I pushed the update this morning and have had two Steam Deck users confirm that it is working.

P.S. I'm in the middle of a small update that will be adding a special extra achievement... no promises when it'll be out but keep an eye on it!
