Hello everyone!
First, thank you all for playing our game and giving us valuable feedback! Since this Steam Early Access release, you have found many things for us to fix and improve, and once again provided us with what you want us to focus on first.
We want to tackle everything, but of course, it won't all be done right away. So here are our focus topics that we want to handle now:
1. Bug fixes
2. Gameplay experience
3. Onboarding for new players
4. Content
They are in order of how fast we can ship them to you, but that doesn't mean we will wait for one to get started on another. For instance, for the next patch we want to release (which we expect to go live early to mid next week):
- Ironworks map fixes
- Missed input drop fix
- Overall weapon balancing (this is an ongoing one for the future as well)
- Improved weapon switching
- Additional hit sounds to improve hit feedback, starting with guns
- Turning Touchdown player limit from 5v5 to 4v4 to reduce chaos
For mid-term (mostly within a month, but content creation usually takes a while), we have other things in mind, like:
- Resuming work on Bat weapon
- Preventing dead players from stopping dashes
- More distinction on melee hits to improve hit feedback
- Weapon information in the inventory
- Showcasing possible shots left out of total for the current weapon flux (energy) in HUD
- Showcasing when and which animation cancel you can do with an icon in the HUD
- Input buffering for animation cancels
- A basic Tutorial, one that gets the core mechanics across
- Adding Heavy Machine Gun weapon
Of course, there will be more to come, and as is normal in game development, we might have to adjust some plans along the way. Still, we hope this gives you the gist of our current focus: improving the game.
