Returning patrons of our little restaurant may be familiar with our young and talented chef, Panko. When his teacher goes missing, a mysterious new visitor warns of dangers that lurk beyond the wall of his town. He must take over the restaurant, tend to his ingredients and patrons, and serve the Caretakers; who are the brave adventurers sent to save the world from this mysterious evil...
Oyshi, the Umami Caretaker, a gentle and comforting soul with a natural affinity for animals and people alike.
Kalan, the Bitter Caretaker, who is an... acquired taste. First encountered alone in the wilds, he is resistant to help and proud of his independence…
The dishes you serve up build your Caretaker’s deck, with each ingredient unlocking a card to use in our turn-based deck building combat sequences, inspired by traditional trick-taking card games. Once the Caretaker has eaten, they’ll venture into the wilds to fight the monsters, and recount their journey to you upon their return through the medium of...

For returning Chefs, the updated demo also includes a variety of new content, including brand-new NPCs waiting to share their stories, increased language support for both in-game content and external feedback, improved access to the town map, alongside a heap more of quality-of-life features, the full list of which can found here.
