You may have noticed that the mothership has been silent for the past few weeks regarding your presence at the Crimson Gate. That silence has now been broken, because something big is coming.
We have new information regarding your mission on 347TH2-Terminus and Project Red Sun. The last time you checked in, you had access to the state of the planet and the Wires, the first explorable zone.
We are now launching our closed beta for FALLENSTAR, granting you new access and tools to progress further on 347TH2-Terminus. Here are the changes you will encounter during your journey down there:
A new zone of the planet has become accessible thanks to your last escapade: The Cortex a fortified control hub once used to oversee the plasma reactor and its connection to the power grid. Once a secure facility for engineers and security personnel, it is now overrun by hostile defense systems. Designed to counter large scale attacks, its corrupted AI now targets all intruders without hesitation. Expect a brutal welcome.
New enemies have been spotted in the Cortex. Be very careful, as they’re very different from anything you’ve encountered so far:
Needle Drone: robotic flying enemy that fires bolts that cause bleed damage
Scorch Spider: robotic spider that crawls on walls and ceilings and fires lasers that inflict burn damage
Trooper Bots: large robots that move slow but hurt a lot
Auto Turret: rapid firing turret that shoots any organic creature on site
Missile Battery: same as the turret except the projectiles explode
