Greetings everyone!
We got a new patch full of fixes ready for everyone! Since launch and the last patch i have received a lot of good feedback. So yea now the game should be running more stable. Enjoy building and playing the game :) And of course feel free to leave any feedback on the forums if you encounter bugs or gameplay issues!
This patch addresses issues with the building system, inventory and UI. Enjoy.

Overhauled the building system
- Have received a lot of feedback that building felt clunky. Have now updated it so building pieces snap better and are more responsive
- Equipping the hammer now brings up a build menu
- cancel build menu with right click
- now a menu with building keybinds and instructions will show when bringing up the building panel
- Building pieces snap better in place
- UI - Building menu should now close when selecting what building item to place down
- Destroying buildings - added an option to destroy the buildings you have placed. This makes sense and idk what it wasnt there before. Keybind is R
Workers:
- Added status indicator in the worker UI that indicates what task they are doing
- Updated the worker priority system - now workers will check better for priorities - to explain how it works: priorities are listed from 1 to 5. 1 is lowest and 5 is highest. So if wood chopping is 5, then that worker will always chop wood, unless there are no trees nearby, then it will take the next priority that is lower. And if two priorities have the same value then it will pick one that have tasks available. So if crafting and building both have priority 3, it will choose crafting if theres any crafting tasks etc
- Fixed a bug where workers wouldnt keep crafting if there were multiple items in queue in the workbench
Updated the inventory
- now the inventory is more responsive and works as intended
- fixed a bug where items would get stuck in between slots if you dragged it
- added stackable items
- now items stack, so you dont have to drag every wood item but can have stacks of 20 wood or any material etc
Player feedback - recieved a lot of feedback
- Added a small icon to indicate what button to press when hovering over npcs, buildings and items in the world, such as hemp, food, wood etc
- Gathering felt clunky
- Addressed this by making the hitboxes larger, so its easier to interact with them
- Opening keybinds from menu would leave it stuck. Now it closes correctly
- Fixed a bug where wolves would run in places
- Fixed a bug where wolves and rabbits would keep running out into the world. Made it so they would all wander from a central point
- UI - fixed a bug where you had to press escape to close the worker menu. Now the mouse should pop up when interacting a worker, making it possible to close menu
- UI - got a lot feedback about menus were clunky - now when you press escape it will close all open menus
- UI - fixed a bug where option menu would pop up when clicking escape to close other menus - i understand this was annoying and it is now fixed! :)
- Building - fixed a bug where you couldnt place roofs properly over walls
- UI - fixed a bug where mouse cursor wouldnt pop up when interacting with the workbench
- Food - can now loot food off bushes
- Combat - Wood club now does damage
- Wolves - can now damage wolves
- Building - The game will now show a tooltip when trying to build - if you have the hammer equipped and hover over a building it will highlight what building piece you choose and show how much the building is built in %
- Workers - Fixed a bug where workers would walk in place before hiring them
Hotbar
- When you equip an item an indicator will show what item you have equipped
- Can only drag weapons or utility items such as axes and hammers into the hotbar
- Inventory
- Can now right click to equip or consume an item
- Food now heals when using it
Saving
- Fixed a bug where save files would corrupt - should no longer happen!
Crafting
- Workbench and other stations will now show if you have enough items to craft an item
Graphics:
