The wait is almost over! Evolve Lab will release into Early Access in a bit more than a week! I want to take this opportunity to share with you what you can expect from the Early Access release.
Play on SEBOS IV, which adds 2 new creatures, 10 new actions, 4 new modules and 12 new cores. Bringing the total content of the initial Early Access release to:
8 playable deep sea creatures
40 Actions for their state machine
15 Modules that can be added to those actions
12 Modifiers to change the stats of your creature or actions
48 Cores to give your creature that special something
I am certain that this large amount of different options will result in a diverse and fun meta for all of you to shape and discover!
Private galaxies allow you to create a space were you only encounter creatures created by other players that have joined the same galaxy. This means you can now play on a planet with just your friends. Progress is shared between all galaxies so you can freely swap between them without having to unlock the same things twice.
Build and upgrade research stations to track your progress in researching the depths of these strange planets. They come with a new reward type, used to unlock hats and skins for your creatures.
Hats and skins are not in the game yet but will be added during early access but you can already start collecting the currency for unlocking them in the meantime. These will be purely cosmetic and a cool way to make your favorite creations stand out even more.
On later planets you can select a few items to take with you on a dive. This can help you better prepare for what type of build you are going for.
I have also taken all of your feedback from the Demo into account, which resulted in many bug fixes and balance changes.
The demo will be online until the 27th of August. Afterwards I will take the servers and demo down to allow me to migrate all of your progress to the Early Access version. You will keep all your unlocked planets and creatures and the research and deep research points that you have earned during the demo.
I am looking forward to making Evolve Lab into its best version with all of your input during Early Access.
