Hey crew, so our first playtest has been underway since February 27th, and I just want to thank everyone who has tried out IRONCLAD (all 11,000 of you), and doubly thank those who have taken the time to leave us feedback! We know we presented a pretty early version of the game to you guys, but that just means that we have more time to actually act on the feedback that everyone has given.
That being said, we have received some feedback on how we've decided to run the playtest itself, and we will be working to improve that experience in the future. We have been letting groups of playtesters in as we make updates so that we can get peoples' first impressions as we make improvements, but we realize that we were not clear enough with how we intended on running the playtest, and some folks were disappointed they didn't get in on the 27th (or still haven't gotten in).
We plan on making another large update or two before closing out this first playtest and by that final update, everyone who has requested access will be given it. Additionally, we plan on having the playtest open until around the end of the month, or slightly later, but we will update everyone once we have a concrete date/time so nobody is surprised.
I'm not going to go over our changelog here because that information is more readily-available on the Playtest's Community Hub, but we're hard at work and progress has been good. I'm excited for everyone to get hands-on experience with some of the most requested features and changes in the coming weeks.
Thank you again for all the support and excitement around the playtest, and I will make sure to update everyone on the closing date of playtest #1 when I know it.
