Hail Vikings!
We are having another playtest! We received a ton of good feedback the last time we did this, and we had a lot of fun too, so we are looking forward to you taking some time to try out Nanokings again! The playtest will start on the 24th of April and last until the 27th, and you can sign up now.
Playtest Schedule
Start: Friday, the 24th April at 12:00 (GMT+1)
End: Monday, the 27th of April at 18:00 (GMT+1)
New Playable Character: Freyja the Stoic
We are introducing a new playable character, Freyja, an archer, who we'd love for you to try out and give us some feedback on! We are looking to polish her abilities and damage, so please enjoy her gameplay style and tell us what you think.
Tutorial
We have added tutorials for the gameplay and the Hub. We are pretty sure we went a bit overboard with the tutorials, so please help us determine what is too much.
Difficulty Settings
We are (re)introducing difficulties, not in the final intended form, but to properly test the interface. It should also provide a greater challenge for those of you who have found Nanokings too easy.
Balancing
We are adjusting the balance of items, enemies and weapons, so expect some things to be less powerful, some more, and some different.
Additionally
There are a few graphical updates, a new enemy, a slew of bug fixes as well, and probably some things we are forgetting to mention!
There will be a more detailed post before the Playtest with the specific changes.
OBS: The Merchant's shop is not currently working, though you can have a peek at the UI.
We are planning to do a little streaming during the playtest too, to show off the game and chat with all of you, so we hope to see you there!
